Naua Naua Lodge was built in 1999 and is located in the untouched natural environment of northern Namibia near the Etosha National Park. Due to the hillside location the lodge offers a spectacular view of the African bush and their rich wildlife.
There aim has always been to support the local people as far as possible. This is why their lodge has furnishings and decorations made by local wood carvers as well as self-designed, handmade steel furniture manufactured in the direct vicinity.
The eight generously dimensioned double rooms each have extra-wide beds protected by a spacious mosquito net. Although the rooms differ in some respects, they are all furnished to the same high standard.
The two round rooms are particularly suitable for families. The three double bungalows have a large patio and a common lounge. The generously dimensioned bathrooms are all equipped with large showers and bidet or bath.
Naua Naua Lodge do not have air conditioning. The thatched roofs provide a natural and pleasant room climate.
The kitchen places great emphasis on maximum quality, which they present in international cuisine combined with typical local ingredients, vegetables from their own garden and fresh game.
The bar is one of the most popular places in Naua Naua not only because you can quench your thirst there with a cool beer, brewed in conformance with the German purity laws, but also due to the proximity to the watering hole where you can observe the wildlife up close. With an ice-cool drink in your hand under the shade of the thatched roof you will get the feel of “Out of Africa”.
Along with the barbecue area, the bar with patio and the partly roofed sunning area, the pool offers an oasis of peace. Here you will find plenty of space and time for some well-earned rest. In the great heat and after long dusty drives on Namibia's sand roads, a dip in the crystal clear water of the pool will refresh your spirits.
